– Nikki Bella vs. AJ Lee (Divas Championship)
– Gold & Stardust vs. The Usos vs. Damien Mizdow & The Miz vs. Los Matadores (Tag Team Championship)
– Alicia Fox, Natalya, Emma & Naomi vs. Paige, Summer Rae, Layla & Cameron (Elimination match)
– Bray Wyatt vs. Dean Ambrose
– Team Cena (Big Show, John Cena, Erick Rowan, Dolph Ziggler, Ryback) vs. Team Authority (Kane, Rusev, Seth Rollins, Luke Harper, Mark Henry) (Elimination match)
Compared to the previous two pay-per-views, Survivor Series seems really easy to call. Here are my last minute predictions:
Nikki Bella vs. AJ Lee
Brie’s month of serving Nikki is coming to an end. Nikki will win the Divas Title but Brie, having already served her time as a butler, will turn on her sister and the Bellas’ feud will finally culminate as a rivalry for the gold.
It’s only sad that AJ doesn’t seem to have anything lined up for her to do after she drops the title.
Gold & Stardust vs. The Usos vs. Damien Mizdow & The Miz vs. Los Matadores
Out of the four tag teams, they are the only ones that have something going on for them at the moment. Mizdow’s popularity is soaring and Miz’ jealousy isn’t far from swimming up to the surface.
Having the titles will only amplify the issues in the Hollywood team. Mizdow might start asking for recognition because he’ll have gold around his waist too. Miz might even try to claim that he alone is the tag team champion, making him the only one-man team to win the titles. Mizdow’s discontent will build up until their issues cost them the titles, followed by the breakup of the duo and a nice feud to end it all.
Alicia Fox, Natalya, Emma & Naomi vs. Paige, Summer Rae, Layla & Cameron
Either Summer Rae, or Emma will be the victim of the first elimination. If there is a sole survivor in the match, she could claim the rights over the #1 contender’s spot for the Divas Title but with the Bellas about to feud for the gold over the next month, this probably won’t happen.
Paige has a completely rubbish team so I won’t be surprised if she ends up being the last woman standing for her team against 2-3 divas on the other side. She probably will be overwhelmed by the numbers and lose.
The only factor that could turn things around and give the win to the heel team could be the WWE’s plans for Paige’s future. If they want to build her as a dominant anti-diva, letting her stand tall as the lone survivor of the match, will give her the credit she needs.
Bray Wyatt vs. Dean Ambrose
The Eater of Worlds will find a way to get deep under Ambrose’s skin and will win. However, I don’t expect it to be a clean victory at all.
I expected this match to get a dramatic stipulation to it but it didn’t, which is disappointing. This is why something else must be planned for the finish. I don’t know what it will be but I expect it to be spectacular.
Team Cena vs. Team Authority
I’d be surprised if anyone doubts Team Cena’s win. This stipulation of going out of power would have never been made if the Authority were going to be victorious. What’s more interesting is the singles feuds that will come out of this match.
We have two possible outcomes for the Big Guy: Ryback vs Triple H or Ryback vs. Rusev for the US title. The first one would give the Game something to do after his reign as the Boss is over. The second one will most probably put a title on the Big Guy. However, if we’re to feed Rusev’s streak to someone, I’d prefer that someone to be Dolph Ziggler. He deserves the credibility it would give him and he has also proven that he’s a great champion.
Luke Harper vs. Erick Rowan is the most interesting rivalry to come out of the Survivor Series main event. I’m eager to find out why those two turned on each other after Bray Wyatt set them free. Rowan and Harper never showed any signs of animosity against each other while they were in the Wyatt Family. This is truly a mystery.
The last feud I can see continuing after Survivor Series is John Cena vs. Seth Rollins. The rivalry between those two has been implicitly going on for some time. As a side thought, I agree, but it has been there for two months now. I’m worried how Cena’s going to affect Rollins’ image but at least in the end Seth needs to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. The noise surrounding Survivor Series made people forget about it but Rollins still is Mr. Money in the Bank.
Let’s enjoy Survivor Series tonight and then I’ll discuss the outcome later!
