Did you find it strange that Paul Heyman came out to address Roman Reigns on RAW without his client Brock Lesnar, after he himself had advertised the Beast’s presence earlier on?
Reports from PWInsider claim that the reason for Lesnar’s absence was that he had an argument with officials in the WWE and simply left Raw before the end of the show. It’s also being said that when Lesnar walked out he was notably angry. Apparently, the rumoured issue had nothing to do with booking, it was purely a business disagreement.
I usually wouldn’t give rumours such as this one much thought. However, the fact the Brock didn’t show up on RAW, despite having been advertised got my attention.
At first, I didn’t believe the reports, which said that CM Punk had an argument backstage and walked out. I thought it would pass but we all know that what happened next was far from peaceful and quiet.
The difference here is that if these reports are legit, the WWE will be in a deep trouble. Lesnar is the reigning, defending WWE World Heavyweight Champion and he needs to put his title on the line in the main event of Wrestle Mania in 5 weeks. You can be sure that if there are indeed any issues between the Beast and the WWE, Vince McMahon will do anything to resolve them before Lesnar steps on the biggest stage of them all.
