The polite psycho Kane was setting up the matches for SmackDown when Seth Rollins interrupted him in an attempt to clear things out. Yet, Kane continued playing dumb and evading the topic.
This mental version of Kane is quite funny. Kane has the ability to switch the style of his entire vocabulary according to his character. It’s amusing.
However, I don’t know why Kane is the director of operations. On RAW it seemed like Triple H and Stephanie had no clue he was even there, let alone being re-employed but still allowed him to walk around making matches.
Roman Reigns def. Luke Harper
The rest of the crew was banned form ringside so this match turned into a one-sided beating. Roman Reigns was angry and he manhandled Harper, leading to a clean victory.
I liked the intensity in Reigns’ wrestling. This determined, always angry persona of his is what he was known to be in the Shield.
The New Day def. Neville and the Lucha Dragons
The New Day are simply a better team and this is why they won.
Neville and the Lucha Dragons had a breath-taking spot where all three of them flew in perfect unison. However, the New Day know how to play the game as a group, so they created a distraction and won.
The New Day are great champions but I’m starting to get bored with the SAVE THE TABLES narration. It’s not original any more and needs to be changed up a bit.
As for Neville and the Lucha Dragons, they are not even a proper stable. The only reason they hang out together is because all three of them have zero personality, despite being awesome in the ring,
Cesaro def. Bo Dallas
Cesaro took Bo to school in the beginning of the match. He then played the underdog for a while and in the end the Swiss Superman had to use a roll up to get the pin.
Cesaro has fallen so low that he takes a cheap victory over Bo as a reason for celebration. The WWE lost confidence in the Swiss Superman way too quickly.
One more thing, Bo is just as hilarious as usual. His promos are brilliant. However, he’s notably out of shape. Bo’s not doing himself a favour right now. The WWE wasn’t willing to invest in him when he was fit, imagine his chances when he’s so out of shape.
Charlotte/ Becky/ Paige/ Natalya
The WWE is making Charlotte way too nice. I’m worried she’ll turn cheesy. She’s supposed to be hardcore, people!
Becky has truly become the afterthought of this division. She’s a sidekick and nothing more. Although she could be much, much more.
I don’t know what Natalya wants to do. She keeps acting nice towards Paige but only gets abused verbally and physically because of it. It just doesn’t make sense.
It was a bit ridiculous that Paige acted like a b*tch and no one did anything to her. There were three women she directly offended and they let her walk away.
Dolph Ziggler and Ryback def. Kevin Owens and Rusev
Rusev got screwed once again. Kevin Owens was upset that Ryback had managed to hit him and left. This distracted the Bulgarian Brute and he got pinned. It’s at least the third time that I can remember that this has happened to Rusev in the last few months.
The love storyline seems to be going nowhere. I just hope we won’t be stuck with it for at least 4 more months till Lana comes back.
Owens/Ryback needs more development. I almost forgot they had a feud. I guess, I’m just being impatient.
The New Day are still champions but PTP are already setting up their championship feud with the Duddley Boyz. Talk about burring someone before he’s dead…
Dean Ambrose def. Seth Rollins
Ambrose and Rollins had yet another perfect match. They seem to love wrestling each other and they always click.
In the end Seth wanted to cheat to win but got distracted by Kane’s music and lost.
This is doing no favours to Ambrose. He never gets a clean victory over Seth.
Rollins got really frustrated this time. He turned beast mode on,then started screaming and threatening Kane. Seth’s confidence seemed to get to Kane, who was watching backstage, notably angry.
The Kane/Seth rivalry will be fun but I don’t think it will go past Hell in a Cell.
